Action Radiotherapy has rebranded with a new name, logo and website.
The charity, which supports radiotherapy treatment for cancer patients has changed its name to Radiotherapy UK and upgraded its website.
The move is to be “more user friendly” and to give “more support and information to patients, professionals and anyone interested in knowing more about radiotherapy”, said the charity.
It hopes the new name and online presence will raise its profile, strengthen its messaging and increase its visibility among the public..
The charity’s name change is complemented by the strapline ‘Vital cancer treatment’.
Radiotherapy is needed by half of all cancer patients and is involved in 40% of cancer cures, according to the charity.
