This year’s annual charity fundraiser football match organised by Youtube group The
Sidemen has raised £4.7m for good causes, including BBC Children in Need.
Through the sold-out event at Wembley, BBC Children in Need will receive half of all donations, while the Sidemen’s charity Bright Side will receive 43% and M7 Education, which supports pupils in areas of disadvantage, will receive 7%.
Bright Side’s recent grantees have included youth hub charity Onside, and Football Beyond Borders.
The moving of the event for the first time to Wembley, the home of national football in England, represents its increasing popularity.
The event usually takes place during an international break in the Premier League in autumn, but its move to Wembley saw it switch to March for 2025.
As with previous years the event involved a Sidemen team, including its members KSI, Miniminter, Zerkaa, Behzinga, Vikkstar123, TBJZL and Wroetoshaw, against a team of YouTube Allstars.
Also appearing in the Sidemen team was Logan Paul, with the Youtube Alltars team including its captain Speed, Chunkz, Danny Aarons and JYNXZI.
The match finished 9-9 and was won by the YouTube Allstars on penalties.
Guys, we can’t thank you enough! £4.7 MILLION raised, with all profits going to charity - words can’t even describe our graciousness and how we’re feeling right now. THANK YOU 💙 pic.twitter.com/UgmGe4nPkI

The previous event took place in September 2023 at West Ham’s 62,000-seater London Stadium and saw 170,000 queue online for tickets.
This raised £2.4m for Teenage Cancer Trust, mental health charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), children’s charity Rays of Sunshine and M7 education.
The event in 2023 was double the previous year’s tally when the event was staged at Charlton Athletic’s 25,000 capacity ground, also in the capital. The event is also streamed with last year’s event garnering 19m views on YouTube within days.
