Humanimal Trust
Humanimal Trust has announced the appointment of two new trustees: John Grounds and Professor Philippe Wilson.

Grounds is a consultant specialising in strategy, brand, communications, campaigning and fundraising, alongside organisational, team and personal development. Before moving into consultancy, John spent nearly 30 years in senior roles at charities including NSPCC, RSPCA, Action Medical Research and Barnardo’s, as well as ethical retailer The Body Shop.

Wilson is a Franco-British healthcare scientist, author, speaker and entrepreneur whose research spans human, animal and environmental health under the One Health umbrella. He has held senior academic roles at De Montfort University, Nottingham Trent University and most recently as Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor for Innovation at York St John University.

Pancreatic Cancer Action
Pancreatic Cancer Action has appointed Paula Hanford as its new chief executive officer.

With more than three years of CEO level experience, she led her previous organisation, PSC Support, through a period of transformation; strengthening services, expanding organisational capacity, and tripling income to support patients and families.

WWF UK
WWF UK has announced the appointment of John Flint CBE as the new chair of its Board of Trustees, formally taking up the role on 26 March 2026.

Flint is the former chief executive of the UK’s Infrastructure Bank (UKIB). which he led from 2021. Most recently he worked transforming UKIB into the National Wealth Fund which is responsible for investing public money in transformational projects across the UK.

Prior to his role in the public sector he was CEO of the HSBC Group.
