This year’s annual football match fundraiser organised by Youtubers the Sidemen has raised £2.4m for charities including the Teenage Cancer Trust, more than double last year’s tally of £1m.
Due to the popularity of last year’s event this year’s fundraiser, which saw 170,000 queue online for tickets, was moved from Charlton Atheltic’s 25,000 capacity ground in the capital to West Ham’s 62,000-seater London Stadium this time around.
The match took place on Saturday and involved a Sidemen team, including its members KSI, Miniminter, Zerkaa, Behzinga, Vikkstar123, TBJZL and Wroetoshaw, against a team of Youtube Allstars, featuring celebrities including Chunkz, Jacksepticeye and Chris MD.
The stream of the charity match has so far garnered 19m views on Youtube.
