A fortnight of gaming for good activity to raise money for homelessness charities is now underway.
The event is now in its third year and has been organised by End Youth Homelessness, a group of 11 youth homelessness charities, including south of England’s Step by Step, national charity Centrepoint and Bristol based 1625 Independent People.
It launched at the weekend and runs until February 25. Gaming content creators involved include Two Angry Gamers, Pyrion Flax and Elz the Witch who said “I’m so excited to join End Youth Homelessness’ initiative Gaming for Good. It’s a pleasure to help raise vital funds which can truly transform the lives of young people and help give back to my community.”
The event involves live streams of gamers and a Mario Kart Tournament in London, hosted by Elz the Witch.
In addition, charity supporters are invited to organise their own gaming event to support End Youth Homelessness.

“Gaming is a passion that brings people together from all around the world, which is why Gaming for Good is such a powerful fundraiser End Youth Homelessness,” said End Youth Homelessness managing director Nick Connely.
“In a game, young people can escape from their lives to do anything. But in real-life, homeless young people face huge barriers to success. At End Youth Homelessness, it is our job to remove these barriers. I want to thank our creators and sponsors who share our belief that all young people should have a fair shot at the game of life”.
