Views sought from frontline homelessness charity workers

Homelessness charity St Martin-in-the-Fields is appealing for frontline charity workers in its sector to take part in its annual survey.

Workers’ experiences in the sector and their ideas for tackling homelessness in the UK are being sought by the charity.

The results aim to “amplify the voices of frontline staff, helping to inform homelessness policy and practice”, says the charity.

It will also use the findings to assess further support it can offer.

More than 1,000 frontline homelessness workers responded to its 2022 survey. This resulted in the charity launching a frontline worker wellbeing project to support the mental health of those working in the sector.

It also published last year's findings with politicians. This includes workers’ concerns around increasing demand, with almost four in five seeing this surge over the previous 12 months.

The deadline for taking part in this year’s survey is 11:59pm on Monday 5 February.
