Small charities' funder The Fore is to increase the size of its maximum grant awards from 30,000 to 45,000.
It says it is “making this change to reflect the rising cost of living and the changing funding landscape”.
The new ceiling for its grants will apply from its Autumn funding round onwards. These will open for registrations of interest from 22 July.
“This change ensures The Fore's offer remains ambitious, differentiated and impactful for high-potential small charities and social enterprises, and means our grants continue to create transformational impact,” it said.
It also assures small charities that “nothing else has changed” and its application process remains the same.
Charities supported by the funder will continue to get access to workshops and free impact measuring training, access to its pro bono network of volunteers and invitations to networking events.
In April the charity announced that 15 charities and social enterprises received funding in its latest round.
This included supporting gender diversity charity Beyond Reflections to look at developing new funding streams.
Another was For the Love of a Child, which helps children impacted by trauma. The funder’s grant will help it launch its Listening Stone programme to help children process loss commercially. It has already garnered interest from among others the World Health Organisation.
