A fundraising hub has been launched to help charities better access fundraising, including applying for grants.
The hub has been launched by charity sector insurer Ecclesasitical and the Philanthropy Company to provide guidance and top for researching possible donors and funders and applying for grants.
The fundraising hub also features a series of webinars to be streamed over the coming weeks with the Directory of Social Change, offering further fundraising guidance.
This webinar programme covers topics including the fundraising landscape, fundraising plans and sources and ramping up digital capabilities.

“During these unprecedented times we have seen the charity sector stepping up to support those most in need – meeting increased demand while losing much of their regular income,” said Ecclesiastical charity director Angus Roy.
“We’ve developed the charity fundraising hub to provide guidance and advice to charities as they look to the future, and help them to be more resilient during this very challenging period and beyond.”
According to the insurer, loss of funding has emerged as the biggest risk factor for charities over the 12 months, with 71% of charities more concerned now as a result of Covid-19.
Other resources in the hub include ‘top tips for charity fundraising during Covid-19 and beyond’ and how to build a case for support among funders. There is also a section on ‘outputs, outcomes and impact reporting’.
