The National Lottery Community Fund has commissioned researchers to evaluate the impact of its funding and to find out more about the programmes it backs.
It is asking charities and other grant holders to provide information on how funding is being used, the number of people that are benefitting as well as the number of people involved in its organisations.
The difference funding has made to people’s lives is another focus, as is how it impacts on volunteering and charities’ recruitment and retention of staff.
The research is being carried out from this week and will see researchers from IFF Research email grantholders with grants that ended between January 2019 and June last year.
The email invite to the survey will not be sent from an email address associated with The National Lottery Community Fund. It will come from this address TNLCFsurvey@iffresearch-dm.com.
“We will only contact a sample of grantholders so if you do not receive an email about this, you don’t need to do anything. If you do receive an email, we would be grateful for your support with this research,” said NLCF.
