Nanette Mellor, the chief executive of the Brain Charity, is moving to take the same role at Drake Music, which supports disabled and non-disabled people using music and technology.
During her nine years at the Brain Charity she has overseen an increase in income from £385,000 a year to £1.8m this financial year. Over this period staffing numbers have risen from fivefold to a 50-strong team.
The Liverpool based charity, which supports people impacted by neurological conditions across the UK, has launched a search for her replacement.
“The past 9 years have been without doubt, the most fulfilling period of my career so far and I will always be grateful for the professional development and personal growth opportunities the organisation has given me,” said Mellor.
