International aid charity membership organisation Bond has linked up with law firm Russell-Cooke to run a series of events and produce content offering legal updates and support to charities and NGOs.

The events and content will cover issues such as emerging fundraising legislation, charity employment law and working with the Charity commission.

Advice on mergers, restructuring, HR, property disputes and data protection is also planned.

“We’re excited to partner with Russell-Cooke who will be providing their expertise to help inform NGOs on essential legal insights and updates,” said Bond director of membership and communications Michael Wright.

“Through a range of events and engaging content, organisations will be equipped to navigate legal frameworks and regulation, from fundraising law to charity employment and governance.”

The first event is set to take place in June, with further details to be released on Bond’s website in due course.
