Big Give rebrands fundraising campaign to raise £10m for charities

Match-funding platform, Big Give, has rebranded its environmental fundraising campaign, with charity leaders set to benefit from more than £10m in donations.

The platform's campaign, with the new name of Earth Raise aims to raise the donations for 330+ environmental organisations during a one-week match funding event timed to Earth Day on 22 April 2026.

The campaign marks a strategic shift to an audience-led, digital-first model called “Pass the Mic”, designed to amplify environmental causes through creators in music, gaming, comedy and culture.

Storytelling will centre around the themes of nature, water, climate, wildlife and people and laying groundwork for Earth Raise Live 2027.

Big Give’s environmental programmes have raised over £23m since 2021. The 2026 campaign will again use its match-funding model during 22–29 April, doubling public donations via Champions including Postcode Green Trust, Garfield Weston Foundation, The Reed Foundation and AKO Foundation.

"Earth Raise is about creating opportunities for people to give with maximum impact," Big Give managing director, Alex Day said.

"We’re providing the tools, the platform, and the funding, but it’s the audience and the amazing array of influential creators we’re working with who drive the action - sharing stories, donating, and inspiring others to get involved.”

The 2026 campaign supports 330+ charities, including long-standing participants such as The Wildlife Trusts and Friends of the Earth.

Earth Raise offers smaller environmental NGOs access to digital marketing reach typically reserved for global brands by providing a centralised platform with high-visibility creator backing.
