Diabetes UK has appointed James Beeby as its director of engagement and fundraising.
He joins from Terrence Higgins Trust where he led on organisational strategy development.
At Diabetes UK he leads a 130-strong department covering marketing, fundraising, communications, business support and digital.
Beeby has previously held senior roles at the Stroke Association, Leonard Cheshire, The Children’s Society and Prostate Cancer UK.
He takes over from Alastair Graham who has held the role on a temporary basis following the departure of the last permanent postholder Kath Abrahams earlier this year. Abrahams is now chief executive of Tommy’s.
