Care charity chief executive Mark Sherman is to retire after 40 years in the role.
He will leave Help & Care in March next year. Ahead of that date he will work with the charity’s board and senior leadership team to ensure a smooth transition.
“We are profoundly thankful for Mark's four decades of service," said Adrian Dawson, chair of the charity’s board.
"Under his guidance, Help & Care has grown and flourished, and he leaves behind a legacy of compassion and excellence."
Sherman added: “It has been an incredible journey. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve this organisation and work alongside so many inspiring individuals.
“Together, we have accomplished remarkable things, and I am confident that Help & Care will continue to thrive and make a difference in the years to come."
