Broadband provider launches small grants programme

Talk Talk has launched a funding initiative offering small grants for community groups and charities in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham.

A £1,500 grant will be made available to each location by the broadband provider. This could be for one organisation or three donations of £500.

Entries for the provider’s Future Fibre Fund close on 11 July and the winners will be notified from 8 August. Those applying must have been running in one of the four cities for at least six months.

Talk Talk is particularly keen to receive applications from groups that support LGBTQIA+ communities.

“We are delighted to celebrate and support local projects in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham with the launch of our Future Fibre Fund this Pride Month,” said
Bronagh McCloskey, Head of Public Affairs and CSR at TalkTalk.

“The pandemic shone a light on the importance of support networks and community groups for everyone, including the LGBTIA+ community, who we are committed to supporting here at TalkTalk.

“We hope the Future Fibre Fund helps community-led initiatives in Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham to continue make a difference.”
