BBC Children in Need
BBC Children in Need has confirmed the appointment of Claire Hoyle as CEO. She takes up the role with immediate effect, having served as CEOon an interim basis since December 2025. Before that, she was chief campaigns and engagement officer.
British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS)
The British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS) has appointed Adam Waters as director of AI Culture and Gaming, where he will lead two strategic areas of the business.
In this new role, he will continue overseeing the growth of BFBS Esports as a core part of BFBS’ welfare and audience engagement offer.
Alongside this, he will further develop BFBS’ AI culture function into everyday working practice, and reshape the charitable arm of the BFBS Academy, bringing together AI and gaming to support veterans and serving personnel in developing the skills needed.
Waters steps into the role after co-founding and leading BFBS Creative, BFBS’ commercial agency.
British Red Cross
The British Red Cross has announced the appointment of Stuart Beamish as executive director for Income Generation and Marketing, joining on Monday 22 June.
He brings significant senior leadership experience in building purpose-led brands, deepening audience engagement and leading high-performing teams. Previously named one of Marketing Week’s Top 100 Most Effective Marketers, he is widely recognised for his inclusive, values-led leadership and has held senior roles at Saga, British Airways and Barclaycard, where he drove sustained growth, innovation and customer engagement.
CARA
Colchester‑based charity CARA (Centre for Action on Rape and Abuse) has appointed a new CEO.
After more than ten years leading CARA, Helen Parr has stepped down from the CEO role. She is succeeded by Sarah Clementson.
CARA’s new CEO first joined the charity in 2014 as Office Manager. She has progressed through the organisation, holding the roles of Head of Operations and most recently, Deputy CEO.
Dog Aid Scotland
Dog Aid Scotland has announced the appointment of Jamie Simpson as its new CEO.
He joins the organisation following his role leading Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, where he gained valuable insight into both the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
Parkinson's UK
The Parkinson’s UK board of trustees has appointed Kristina Murrin CBE as a trustee and chair elect.
She will join the Board in September, and take on the role of chair in October, when Gary Shaughnessy CBE completes his term with the Annual Members’ Meeting.
Most recently CEO at The King’s Foundation, and formerly a senior leader at Number 10, Kristina has built a career across the private, public and charity sectors.
Worldwide Cancer Research
Worldwide Cancer Research has announced the appointment of Laura Brady as its new CEO.
Having previously served as director of marketing and fundraising, Brady spearheaded the strategic direction and bold rebrand that established the organisation on the global stage.
