Lloyds Bank Foundation

Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales has appointed Natalie Golding as its new chief operating officer.

Golding will join the Foundation in May, having most recently served as chief operating officer at the Payment Systems Regulator.

Her previous roles include director of the Leadership College for Government. She has also led the Department for Transport’s crisis management team, held an executive role at the UK Space Agency, and served as chief of staff to two permanent secretaries.

Alongside her executive career, Golding is a trustee of the Collections Trust and OXPIP.

Scouts

Scouts has announced three senior appointments to its executive leadership team.

Tom Ovenstone has been appointed executive director of Operations. He joins from The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, where he spent 15 years in senior leadership roles, most recently as Director of Quality and Compliance. He previously worked at Scouts, leaving in 2010 as head of Programme.

Kirsten Stevens has been appointed executive director of Finance. She joins from Sue Ryder, where she has served as chief finance officer for the last seven years, bringing 25 years’ experience across complex charitable organisations.

Kieron Moir has been confirmed as executive director for Strategy, effective immediately. Having served on the Executive Leadership Team since April 2025, Kieron co‑led the development of Place to Belong and brings deep organisational knowledge and leadership experience having previously been a trustee of the organisation.

WCMC
WCMC the Cambridge-based environment charity has announce the appointment of Ashley Highfield as chair of its board of trustees, who will formally take up the role in September.

He began his career as a management consultant in the technology, media and telecommunications sector before joining the BBC. There, he became the youngest ever member of the Executive Board as Director of New Media & Technology.

He subsequently served as Managing Director of Microsoft’s Consumer and Online business in the UK and later moved to the UK’s largest regional press business as chief executive.

Alongside his executive career, he also served for seven years on the board of the British Film Institute and chaired the News Media Association following the Leveson Inquiry. Most recently, he served as Non-executive director and Chair of the Eden Project Ltd.
