Loch Ness Marathon names official fundraising partner

Fundraising platform Enthuse has been named as the official fundraising partner of the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon and Festival of Running.

Its eight-year link up with the event starts this month ahead of 2026’s event in September.

The marathon at the scenic Scottish loch generates more than £1m for charities across Scotland and the UK.

The partnership also covers the River Ness 10K, 10K Corporate Challenge, River Ness 5K and Wee Nessie events.

“This new partnership will elevate the fundraising journey for participants and their supporters as well as boosting the charitable impact of the event,” said Malcolm Sutherland, chief executive of Loch Ness Marathon organiser Caledonian Concepts.

The platform is already official partner with mass participation event organisers London Marathon Events and the Great Run Company, involving events such as Great North Run, London Marathon and Brighton Marathon among others.

“The Baxters Loch Ness Marathon has earned its reputation as one of the most welcoming and scenic marathons in the world and we’re delighted to be the official fundraising partner for such a fantastic event,” said Enthuse founder and chief executive Chester Mojay-Sinclare.

“It’s no surprise that such an iconic course is on the bucket list of so many runners and we want to help ensure maximising fundraising is front of mind for participants too.”
