Legacy professionals bursary award scheme expands

The Legacy Futures Awards programme is to double the number of awards it offers to promising professionals in the legacy and in-memory sector from three to six.

The winners will be offered a package of legacy training and mentoring to develop their skills.

“Through our bursary awards, we’re looking to celebrate, support and inspire those who have so much potential in the sector and to help make those new ideas a reality,” said CEO of Legacy Futures Ashley Rowthorn.

“We’ve also opened up two of the award categories to international applicants, aiming to share insight and ideas across national borders, further encouraging innovation.”

The award categories are the Crispin Ellison Bursary Award for legacy administration (two bursaries towards Institute of Legacy Management training), the Legacy Future Leader Award (three mentoring packages with legacy and in-memory experts from Legacy Futures), and the Legacy Futures Innovation Award (an organisational award offering a dedicated innovation workshop to bring new ideas into practice).

Applications for the 2022 Legacy Futures Awards close at 17:00 GMT on 31 March 2022.
