Speaker profile: Julie Hutchison

Julie has 18 years of experience in specialist roles across law, tax, financial planning and investments.  After graduating with a First in Law from the University of Edinburgh and qualifying as a lawyer, Julie specialised in private client work, including philanthropy and the creation and management of charities. As the Charities Specialist at Standard Life Wealth, Julie supports charity boards with governance and policy issues. She also has particular expertise in ethical investing policy matters and sits on the Ethical Funds Advisory Group at Standard Life Investments. Julie is a former charity trustee and sits on the Finance Committees of both Lake District Calvert Trust and Youth Scotland.
