Speaker Profile: Richard Bray
Richard is a chartered accountant who joined Cancer Research UK shortly after its creation in 2002, having previously worked for KPMG for twenty years in varied audit and tax roles. He is currently Finance, Regulatory and Taxes Manager. He is also CTG Vice-Chairman and a member of the HMRC Charity Tax Forum and the Charities SORP Committee. In terms of a title for the session, would “Reviewing the tax environment for charities” work? We would anticipate that he would run through some recent topical developments including Gift Aid changes, Making Tax Digital, Apprenticeship Levy and the VAT and other tax implications of Brexit. If there is a space I would be interested in attending this session with Richard. Are there many spaces left for the Conference. If so we may be able to promote Richard’s involvement in our next newsletter, which goes out to 500+ charities.
