Speaker Profile: Simon Blake

Image titleSimon Blake OBE is the Chief Executive of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England. His role is to lead the organisation to improve the mental health of the nation and to help build a society where attitudes and behaviours around mental health are normalised. He is driven by a passion for a better, more inclusive society where everyone can be themselves. In his 20 years working with young people, Simon has been involved in several projects to promote positive wellbeing and mental health, as well as sex and relationships education, sexual and reproductive rights, volatile substance abuse and LGBTQ rights. Simon received an OBE in 2011 for his services to the voluntary sector and young people and is Deputy Chair at Stonewall. He enjoys running, equestrian eventing and walks with his dog.
