Speaker profile: Elizabeth Balgobin

Elizabeth is the Chief Executive at The Bowlby Centre, a mental health charity, a voluntary and community sector consultant and Life Coach with over 30 years’ experience of frontline delivery and infrastructure organisations. She has over 25 years’ experience of grant giving, from hardship funds to large programmes. Elizabeth is a trustee at the National Emergencies Trust and sits on the Equity Scrutiny Group and Allocations Committee and chairs the Evaluation Working Group. Elizabeth has an abiding commitment to, and knowledge and experience of, diversity, equity, inclusion, social justice and environmental sustainability – they depend on each other for a healthy and equitable world. She has had regular columns on governance and leadership for 10 years.
