Raeburn Place Foundation is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation charged with two charitable objectives:
• The advancement of public participation in sport; and
• The advancement of heritage
In order to fulfil these objectives, the trustees are undertaking the redevelopment of sports facilities at Raeburn Place sports ground in Edinburgh in order to provide financially sustainable facilities that are fit for purpose and accessible to all.
Full details of our mission can be found on our website: www.raeburnplacefoundation.org
Our existing trustees have overseen the redevelopment plans to the current stage, where we have started building the commercial elements of the project. They are now looking to add depth to the board as we continue towards the completion of the development.
We are looking for committed individuals, especially those with an understanding of the physical, mental and social benefits of inclusive sport, or experience of the museum and heritage sector.
Trustees should be able to commit to four meetings a year in Edinburgh, as well as providing support, advice and expertise on an ad hoc basis. The position is not remunerated.
If you are interested, please send a covering letter with your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org. The trustees will consider these and, if they feel you are an appropriate fit, invite you to meet with them.
