We are looking for an experienced team leader and a skilled database administrator to manage customer services at our office in Maidstone.
The Customer Services Manager will be responsible for managing five staff and Kent Music’s customer and tuition management database. They will ensure that excellent administration and a professional and high-quality customer service is provided to the parents, schools and teachers of Kent Music.
Applicants should have at least three years’ experience in a similar role, including experience of managing a team. They should have a professional approach when engaging with customers and staff, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They should have a strong working knowledge of databases, financial processes, reporting and Microsoft Excel, as they will be responsible for reviewing and streamlining processes, and reporting on effectiveness. As Data Protection Officer, they will be responsible for implementing procedures and monitoring and reporting on data management – GDPR training or experience would be desirable. They must be empathetic with customers, have good problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy and changeable working environment.
